  • ASRC Federal Facilities Logistics, a subsidiary of ASRC Federal, is seeking an Inventory Materials Handler Team Member on site at the Pentagon in Northern VA.

    Provide Inventory Distribution Transportation Support

    Warehouse and Inventory Management

    • Receive and inspect all incoming stock for count, quality and discrepancies (Est. 54,000 pieces per year).

    • Communicate with supplier's product discrepancies, order status and product availability.

    • Perform Physical Inventories and daily cycle counts.

    Customer Service.

    • Provide quality customer support and assist customers to locate material and make sure we have the quantities needed

    • Process industrial customer product orders at checkouts in a timely manner.

    • Verify all material and Purchase Requisition Forms (PR) information is accurate (proper signatures, dollar amounts etc).

    • Ensure all safety items have the proper safety approval and supervisor forms.

    • Coordinate product staging to fill customer Quick Pick orders. Stage material for pick-up and handle customer returns.

    Warehouse functions.

    • Conduct daily pre-operational/pre-use Forklift Inspections

    • Perform daily Closeout Report and general housekeeping, sweeping, cleaning, organizing

    • Perform restocking of shelves and inspect all work areas.

    Requirements :

    • 1-5 + years of related warehouse, forklift or retail experience

    • Forklift License certification for standard 5,000 pounds forklift and 7-ton forklift. operator preferred

    • Other MHE such as Pallet Jack, carts and ladders

    • Employees are required to have product knowledge and retail experience

    • Customer service and relationship experience

    • Must be able to obtain a Government Security Clearance.

    • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word and Excel)
