Job Description: As an International Mobility Specialist at Safran USA, you will play a crucial role in managing the international assignment processes for our employees across various business units. You will ensure a smooth and efficient transition for employees relocating to and from the United States, while adhering to company policies and compliance regulations.

Responsibilities

• Assignment Management: Coordinate all aspects of international assignments, including expatriation, repatriation, and localizations.

• Policy Adherence: Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, and tax regulations related to international mobility.

• Vendor Management: Liaise with relocation service providers, tax consultants, immigration lawyers, and other vendors to facilitate seamless mobility processes.

• Employee Support: Serve as the main point of contact for expatriates and their families regarding relocation logistics, cultural integration, and general support.

• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation related to assignments, expenses, and immigration status. Generate reports as required.

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance the employee relocation experience.

• Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with HR Business Partners, Legal, Finance, and other departments to ensure alignment and support for international mobility initiatives.

Job Requirements

Qualifications

• Education Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, International Relations, or a related field.

• Experience Preferred: 3-5 years of experience in international mobility management or global HR roles within a multinational corporation.

• Knowledge Preferred: Understanding of international assignment policies, immigration laws, and tax implications. Experience with global mobility software.

• Skills:

o Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels and across cultures.

o Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple assignments simultaneously.

o Problem-solving skills and ability to navigate complex issues related to international relocations.

• Languages: Proficiency in English is required. Proficiency in other languages is a plus.

• Certification: Preferred certifications include Global Mobility Specialist (GMS) or Certified Relocation Professional (CRP).
