ABOUT THE ROLE
The Internal Reporting Finance Manager is responsible for overseeing the preparation and accuracy of internal financial reports in compliance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards. This role ensures that internal stakeholders have timely and accurate financial information for decision-making and strategic planning. The Manager will work closely with various departments to gather and validate financial data, analyze financial results, and develop and maintain internal controls over financial reporting.
WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING
Financial Reporting: Lead the preparation and review of monthly, quarterly, and annual internal financial reports, ensuring accuracy and completeness in accordance with US GAAP and PCAOB standards.
Compliance: Ensure all financial reporting complies with US GAAP, PCAOB standards, and internal policies.
Consolidation: Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements and related disclosures, ensuring consistency and accuracy.
Collaboration: Work closely with various departments, including finance, operations, and legal, to gather and validate financial data.
Analysis: Analyze financial results to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, and provide actionable insights to senior management.
Guidance: Provide guidance on the adoption and implementation of new accounting standards and regulatory changes, particularly those related to PCAOB standards.
Support for External Reporting: Provide the base data for financial statements and notes for external reporting, and support the external reporting team in preparing SEC filings (10-Q, 10-K) in compliance with PCAOB standards.
Internal Controls: Develop and maintain robust internal controls over financial reporting, working in conjunction with the internal controls team to ensure compliance with PCAOB standards.
Presentations: Prepare and present detailed financial analysis and reports to senior management on a quarterly and monthly basis.
System Development: Participate in the development and implementation of financial reporting systems (Tagetik) and processes, ensuring they meet the organization's needs and comply with PCAOB standards.

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
Certification: CPA certification preferred, with experience in a Big 4 accounting firm highly desirable.
Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in financial reporting, consolidation, or a related field.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of US GAAP, PCAOB standards, internal financial reporting standards, and experience with SEC reporting requirements.
Required Computer and Software Skills: Experienced with MS Office, Google Suite
Travel Requirements: 20%
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
Proficiency in financial consolidation software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
Demonstrate a commitment to communicating, improving and adhering to health, safety and environmental policies in all work environments and areas. Promote a culture of safety and exhibit these behaviors.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Holcim approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Subject to applicable law, employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
