    Summer Intern

    Job Summary

    The team is seeking rising juniors to support Lafayette Square as a summer intern. We are seeking interns to support various areas of our business including Underwriting, Capital Raising, Technology, Analytics and Services. As a Lafayette Square intern, you will have the opportunity to join an impact driven, diverse group of smart and ambitious people who want to make a positive impact on the world. You will also have a chance to gain exposure to specific lines of business and expand the tools you'll need to launch your career and complement your education with diverse, real-world job experiences. We are a fully remote company and will employ all interns on a remote basis.

    Responsibilities
    • Support Lafayette Square initiatives across the firm.
    • Perform or assist with core activities alongside internal teams by applying knowledge learned to drive business results.
    • Learn to collect, evaluate, and analyze a variety of data across collaborative technology platforms to deliver impactful insights to the firm.
    • Actively engage in projects and programs designed to develop professional skills and expertise specific to the needs of the firm.
    • Attend and participate in all firm-wide and department specific meetings to better understand current and future projects and company objectives.
    • Participate in social learning across the organization by identifying and networking with business representatives and peers, participate in job shadowing, mentoring and community outreach.
    Requirements
    • Working towards a bachelor's degree, preferably in business or technology relevant majors (e.g., Finance, Accounting, Computer Science, Economics, or Engineering).
    • Mature, responsible, and entrepreneurial qualities to complement the existing team.
    • Highly analytical mindset with the ability to process information with high levels of accuracy.
    • Extensive skills and experience in Excel, Powerpoint and other Microsoft Suite platforms.
    • Strong initiative with the motivation to seek out work and the drive to accomplish goals.
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
    • Knowledge of techniques and technology platforms that can promote effective communication, collaboration, and data processing across the firm.
    • Flexibility in adapting to a changing start-up environment.
    Compensation

    $20-$25 per hour
