    We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the Brookfield Properties U.S. Office Division in New York, NY as an FP&A Intern. This internship program lasts 10 weeks and includes many exciting training and development opportunities. In this role, you will be an integral part of the U.S. Office FP&A team and assist business functions such as forecasting, capital planning, actuals analysis, and various ad-hoc tasks.

    Role & Responsibilities:

    • Summer 2025 internship, ten weeks in length

    • Full-time (40 hrs/week)

    • Mentorship opportunities, coaching and career guidance

    • Exposure to corporate culture and work environment

    • Ongoing presentations and training

    • Emphasis on real estate and alternative investments accounting and/or finance functions

    Your Qualifications

    • Rising junior or senior working towards a bachelor's degree in related major (Accounting, Finance, Business, etc.)

    • Minimum GPA of 3.0

    • The ideal candidate will have excellent presentation and organizational skills

    • Strong team player with a good work ethic

    • Must be available to work in the office

    • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

    • Possess mature, tactful and professional demeanor

    • Ability to prioritize tasks, work well under pressure and be self-motivated with a positive attitude

    • Prior accounting internship or experience is a plus

    • Working toward a CPA is preferred

    • Strong working knowledge of MS Office including MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
