    What will you do:

    • Evaluate already implemented CO2 reduction initiatives (define period of time here, e.g. since the date that added capacity was commissioned) and determine CO2 offset already achieved.

    • Document various opportunity scenarios, model changes, and estimate potential CO2 reduction from each one (including process restrictions that might affect feasibility of opportunities).

    • Support in determining best IT solution to consolidate current manual query/reporting structure for EHS that will include solution for CO2 reduction data tracking going forward.

    • Research available green energy solutions for NRV plant area and provide input on options that should be considered going forward.

    Who are you?

    Minimum Education and Experience

    • Applicants must be currently enrolled and pursuing a degree in Environmental or Electrical Engineering, at an accredited school and have completed 30 semester hours prior to the start of the internship

    • Student should have a minimum GPA of 2.75

    • Spring interns may work up to 30 hours per week

    Essential Skills & Experience

    • Strong data analysis and analytical skills

    • Understand energy utilization measurements, conversion, and comparison

    • Documentation skills and have the ability to model various opportunity simulations

For all intern and co-op positions, the hourly range is set at $16.00 - $46.00. The hourly rate for these roles is determined by several factors including, but not limited to, geographic location, academic classification, and degree seeking area of study.
