Grain and Protein Technologies is a global organization with nearly 4,000 employees who develop technological solutions for farmers. The North America team is currently looking for a Design Engineering Intern to join our Design Engineering team based in Omaha, NE . This is a paid, full-time internship during the summer of 2025 at our Grain & Protein facility in Omaha, NE. Housing is provided for students who reside more than fifty miles from Omaha. Students are required to work forty hours per week on-site at our Omaha office from May through August 2025.

Your Impact

Product Design

• Communicate with Engineering Team Lead, Engineering Manager and Product Manager to understand and verify product requirements and cost targets

• Analyze and identify risks to mitigate production issues through engineering and product managers

• Computer based design and gain manufacturing inputs during design activities

• Production readiness

• Support tech services and current product maintenance and updates per stakeholder requests

Your Experience and Qualifications

• Enrollment in a degree program in design engineering, agricultural engineering or related field

• Must be registered as a full-time student

• Must be able to commute to work location on a daily basis
