Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Interior Technician to join our team working on an aircraft conversion program for the Q400. You will be responsible for adding components to raw panels, fitting them on the aircraft, and bringing panels to their final configuration. This role involves working with raw materials, building, modifying, and fitting aircraft interiors, and reading blueprints to complete the project.

Responsibilities

• Work on aircraft conversion program for Q400

• Add components to raw panels and fit them on the aircraft

• Bring panels to their final configuration

• Build and modify interiors for different configurations

• Work with raw materials to complete the final product

• Read and interpret blueprints for project execution

• Complete assembly and finishing of monuments and wall line paneling

• Modify and configure interiors

Essential Skills

• Experience in aircraft maintenance repair

• Experience in aircraft interiors

• Proficiency in aviation and interior finishing

• Woodworking skills

• Experience using hand tools

• Blueprint reading skills

• Experience in cabinet shop work and monument assembly

• 4-5 years of relevant experience

• Experience with Q400 aircraft

• Repair and fabrication experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with Dash 8 Q400

• Transport Canada License

• 10 years of interior experience

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Positive attitude and initiative

Work Environment

You will be part of a team of 5-6 people, working closely with the Team Lead or lead hand to ensure the aircraft is functioning properly. Team Leads rotate and may vary for different crews. You will need to bring basic tooling with you. The shift is Monday to Friday from 7am to 3:30pm.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Abbotsford, British Columbia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $50.00

This is a fully onsite position in Toronto,ON.
