    Job Description

    Your Team

    As an Interior Design Manager with the Calgary Homes team, you will lead our Studio team, ensuring an exceptional design experience for every customer. You'll support interior designers with resources, training, and process improvements, while driving Studio profitability, efficiency, and innovation. Key responsibilities include managing vendor relationships, overseeing design quality and trends, and maintaining seamless cross-department collaboration.

    The Interior Design Manager is ideal for a dynamic leader passionate about coaching a team, interior design, customer satisfaction, and team development.

    Your Key Deliverables

    • Ensure a top-tier selection center experience for every customer interaction.

    • Lead studio operations, sales, operational, and financial performance, overseeing all customer-facing and internal processes.

    • Coordinate with sales, marketing, and external partners to create a unified brand and customer experience.

    • Manage daily Studio tasks, including product displays, agreement reviews, and timely communication.

    • Develop and report on annual budgets and quarterly profitability.

    • Maintain product catalog accuracy, lead value engineering initiatives, and identify new revenue opportunities.

    • Hire, train, and support Studio staff, fostering a collaborative culture and ongoing professional development.

    • Develop innovative design solutions and drive continuous improvement.

    • Manage cross-functional partnerships, including procurement, construction, and product development.

    • Contribute to brand alignment and design excellence in showhome selections

    Must Haves

    • Degree in Interior Design, Commerce, or Management, with 5+ years of industry experience (1-3 years supervisory).

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Builder software (New Star, Design Studio Manager, BIM) and Adobe Suite is a plus.

    • Strong leadership, business acumen and customer focus

    • Proactive, dependable, and relationship-driven with a positive and engaging
