    The Opportunity:

    • Operations Officer is part of a new and growing team, responsible for smooth mission management across multiple

    missions, serving national security

    • Provide planning, scheduling, and capability expertise to ensure mission requirements are met

    • Certify in multiple operator functions, representing new capabilities for the customer

    • Knowledge-based and on-the-job training provided

    • Generate standard practices, procedures, and policies; reinforce these across the team

    • Support payload operations in coordination with other team members

    • Communicate effectively and collaboratively with leads and other customer stakeholders

    Qualifications:

    Required

    • TS/SCI with Polygraph is required to begin employment

    • Fundamental understanding of satellite communication systems

    • Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills

    • Ability to learn new systems and capabilities with little direction

    • Routine interaction with multiple customers

    • Solid written and oral communications skills

    Desired

    • Experience and/or certification in Space planning software

    • Experience in on-site operations environment and/or SIGINT collection

    • Experience providing hands-on training

    • Knowledge of theoretical and practical aspects of satellite communications

    • Ability to support off-hours activities on occasion

    Pay Range : There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications.     The proposed salary range for this position is

    $71,500 - $150,200
