    POSITION PURPOSE: The Integrated School-Based Therapist Part-Time provides psychotherapy for clients primarily within the school setting, and to a lesser extent the office setting. The role requires the clinician to be highly independent, comfortable, and confident working with individuals and their families exhibiting mental health symptoms, as well as collaborating with the school. The Integrated School-Based Therapist will assess clients, determine a course of treatment, and implement the treatment plans for clients while providing clinical interventions and resources. Additionally, as a professional integrated within the school, the Integrated School-Based Therapist will provide crisis intervention, assist with parent engagement, attend PTA and/or SAP meetings, and provide classroom observation/consultation to assist educators with resolving behavioral health challenges. The therapist will create and host trainings on behavioral health topics to enhance educator knowledge. This role requires close collaboration with families, treatment providers, and educational organizations to achieve client goal progress.

    WHAT YOU WILL DO:

    • Provide psychotherapy, psychoeducation, and clinical interventions for clients and parents/guardians when applicable

    • Complete biopsychosocial assessments to determine client's strengths, needs, and diagnosis

    • Complete documentation within the electronic health record in congruence with organizational policies and regulatory requirements

    • Engage with parents/guardians/schools to strategize methods of supporting client goal progress and wellbeing

    • Collaborate with members of the treatment team, school partners, community members, and third-party providers, including providing trainings to educators to enhance their behavioral health knowledge

    • Attend and participate in clinical, administrative, and community partner meetings, including parent teacher meetings.

    MINIMUM QUALILFICATIONS:

    • Master's in Human Services and 1 year of care delivery experience. Graduate degree from a college or university that is accredited by an agency recognized by the United States Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA) in a generally recognized clinical discipline in which the degree program includes a clinical practicum

    POSITION HIGHLIGHTS AND BENEFITS:

    Work Schedule: This is a non-exempt (hourly) position. Part-time, at least 24 hours per week. Monday through Friday, primarily day time, with flexibility of possible evenings depending on population needs.
