    meet the needs of the flight line.

    As a Field Support Systems Engineer Senior Manager,

    you will lead a professional team of customer support

    and problem resolution experts supporting customers

    and weapons systems sustainment in the field. You

    will be the single point of contact to lead, manage,

    and oversee all customer support functions related to

    the Integrated Fighter Group (IFG) portfolio (including

    F-16, F-22, F-2, and T-50 weapons systems)

    contractor support field operations for Aeronautics.

    • Collaborate with engineering teams, partnered

    agencies, and companies to ensure world class

    customer support, with responsiveness and technical

    quality to enable world-wide operations.

    • Respond to the operational and support concerns of

    customer management and ensure responsive

    proactive support is provided by contractor support

    agencies.

    • Monitor, review, and analyze customer logistic

    indicators, ensure appropriate resources are focused

    on resolving and improving unit technical and support

    issues.

    As a leader and manager in Aeronautics you will

    guide, support, mentor, and manage the IFG Field

    Operations workforce to include cost, schedule, and

    technical aspects of the sustainment business

    • Ensure submittal of required technical and

    administrative records and reports to include: activity

    reports, inspections, field and modification team

    activities, performance metrics, personnel and

    resource issues.

    • Perform management oversight of IFG Operations

    Centers, Product Support Engineering, call center

    service, functional support for IFG base support

    teams, and deployment capabilities.

    • Ensure personnel comply with program, company,

    and government agency policies and procedures and

    coordinate staffing and training requirements.

    An experienced professional must be able to interact,

    inspire, and collaborate with multiple levels of

    management, employees, customers and agencies.

    • Must have demonstrated experience working and

    interacting with senior management within the unit,

    operations, and maintenance communities, as well as,

    demonstrated experience managing product / system

    engineering support.

    • Education, communication skills, and background

    are vital to establish credentials.

    • Must be proficient in the use of personal computers and collaborative products to ensure effective

    communication and partnership with customer,

    program office, program management, and

    engineering and technical teams. A level 6 leader typically has 20 - 30+ years of professional experience.

    Applicant selected will be subject to a government

    security investigation and must meet eligibility

    requirements for access to classified information, i.e.,

    will require F-22 & F-35 Program access. Must be a US Citizen. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Some business travel may be required.

    Basic Qualifications:

    • 8+ years minimum proven fighter aircraft maintenance experience

    • Bachelor's degree, or

    equivalent combination of experience and education

    • Experience with Business Metrics to drive

    performance (cost, schedule, quality)

    • Experience with Microsoft Products

    • Experience briefing senior leadership

    Desired Skills:

    • Extensive previous leadership experience

    • Working knowledge of flying and maintenance

    operations

    • Proven performance collaborating with senior

    military leaders and operational customers on a daily

    basis.

    • Current Secret Security clearance or better required.

    • Master's degree preferred

    • Exceptional verbal and written skills required to

    ensure clear communications with customers, reach

    back to LM Aero leadership, and engineering teams.

    Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

    Clearance Level: Secret with Investigation or CV date within 5 years

    Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.

    Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

    Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
