    Scope of Position

    As an Inside Sales Representative, you will be crucial to the business by expanding ALC's customer base and working to exceed sales targets. We are looking for a team member who is a self-starter, pays attention to detail, thrives in a fast-paced environment, excels at building relationships, and is customer-oriented. In this position, we will develop your skills and build a solid foundation of knowledge to prepare you for your career journey.

    You will be working onsite in Harrisburg, PA, Pittsburgh, PA or State College, PA.

    Role Responsibilities

    • Analyze sales data to identify upcoming potential opportunities.

    • Work with the sales team to create accurate estimates, prepare bids, perform site walk-throughs, and conduct field surveys.

    • Collaborate with outside sales and sales management to develop and present sales presentations.

    • Support bid activities including but not limited to; obtaining subcontractor quotes, performing job take-offs, and conducting job site walkthroughs.

    • Review project specifications and control schematics.

    • Provide clear documentation on estimates, proposals, and scope letters.

    • Obtain multiple subcontractor prices.

    Required Qualifications

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    Preferred Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Business, Accounting.

    • Sales, Building Automation, HVAC, and/or Controls experience or knowledge.

    • Capable of building strong relationships with customers and coworkers.

    • Detailed-oriented, self-motivated, and works to continuously improve.
