What does a day as an IT System Administrator look like?As a member of the IT team, you may perform a variety of responsibilities. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Oversee administration and management of enterprise applications to ensure seamless operation and integration
- Collaborate with third-party vendors for technical support, implementation guidance, and adherence to industry best practices
- Monitor and manage system resources, including performance and capacity planning, to maintain optimal system functionality
- Provide technical support and assistance to end-users, addressing issues and facilitating efficient use of enterprise applications
- Maintain strict adherence to change management processes to maintain system stability, availability, and integrity during updates and modifications
What is the schedule? Our hours for this position are 8:00 am to 5:00pm Monday through Friday. Sometimes giving top-notch member service may require a little overtime, but we value work-life-balance and do our best to limit this.
Does your skillset and experience line up? For this role, we are looking for someone who:
- Has 1-3 years of similar or related experience
- Has a bachelor's degree
- Is experienced in supporting mainframe and PC/LAN hardware, software, and communication products
- Is able to work independently in troubleshooting problems
- Understands industry standards regarding system and network security
- Must have very strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
