Information Security Manager

Description We are initiating the search for an Information Security Manager to join our team in Minneapolis, Minnesota. In this role, you'll be at the forefront of our cybersecurity operations, implementing policies and procedures to ensure the safety of our data. With a focus on compliance, data protection, and training, you'll play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our digital infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage corporate privacy, security, and cookie policies.

• Monitor changes in legislation pertaining to cybersecurity.

• Conduct regular privacy audits to ensure compliance with all data protection and privacy laws in the US.

• Develop and oversee the implementation of data protection procedures, including GDPR compliance.

• Organize and deliver corporate cybersecurity training.

• Develop response strategies for potential data breaches and cyber-attacks.

• Collaborate on encryption tools, data transmission protocols, and policies.

• Manage the reclamation of company assets and deactivation of access privileges for terminated employees.

• Implement and manage protection plans for all company servers and computers.

• Create policies regarding data retention, password management, data deletion, data backup, and equipment disposal.

• Oversee all aspects of cybersecurity within the company. Requirements - Strong knowledge and experience in Configuration Management

• Proven expertise in Data Protection, ensuring safety and security of sensitive information

• Comprehensive understanding of General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)

• Ability to implement and maintain Data Privacy protocols in line with company and legal requirements

• Proficiency in Amazon Web Services (AWS), specifically in terms of security aspects

• Ability to develop and enforce Cyber Security Policies

• Demonstrable experience in Cyber Security Engineering, ensuring robust defense against possible threats

• Familiarity with Software as a Service (SaaS) and its security considerations

• Experience managing security in a Multi-tenant Cloud environment

• Ability to formulate and implement Corporate Policy relating to information security

• Experience working in an Agile environment, with the ability to adapt security practices accordingly Technology Doesn't Change the World, People Do.®
