  • GENERAL PURPOSE

    Supports the development of methods for data collection, analysis, and reporting for the Information Security team. Analyzes and interprets data using statistical techniques. Assists with the creation of presentations and reports based on findings, which includes collating, modeling, interpreting and analyzing data. Collects data requirements, analyzes and determines technical issues, and design ad-hoc reports. Collects, analyzes and documents business requirements and supports translation into function and system requirement specifications.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Assists with tracking, compiling and the development of comprehensive security metric data for evaluating effectiveness of programs, processes, or practices. Assists with building security solutions based on data.

    • Collects requirements and designs reports to meet data analysis needs. Assists in the preparation of detailed documentation and/or reporting.

    • Updates and maintains the integrity of assigned databases and dashboards on an ongoing basis.

    • Consults with various InfoSec teams to assess data preparation and data management needs. Works to aggregate data from different tools and provide assessments and recommendations to make data-driven Security decisions.

    • Analyze and interpret data using statistical techniques to identify trends and patterns and assist in the development of assessment reports and remediation plans.

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • GED or High School diploma required.

    • Bachelor's degree in related discipline such as Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, Database management, Science or Engineeringpreferred.

    • 1 years of related experience required.

    • or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

    • Experience in higher education or healthcare IT preferred.

    • Basic knowledge of information security principles required.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.

    • Excellent data analysis or customer resource management systems skills required.

    • Strong attention to detail and strong organizational, data analysis and

    • problem-solving skills required.

    • Strong statistics and statistical analysis skills with advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and familiarity with data visualization platforms preferred.

    • Ability to collaborate effectively with others and ensure customer satisfaction and appropriate follow-through in all interactions preferred.

    • Ability to function effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment preferred.

    Pay Range

    Pay Range: $44,419 - 62,186 Annually

    The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.
