    Dignity Health Medical Group - Sequoia (~~~) , a service of Dignity Health Medical Foundation, is seeking an energetic and team oriented Infectious Disease Medical Director . We are a growing multi-specialty group and affiliated with Sequoia Hospital (~~~) .

    This practice is primarily inpatient with the opportunity/expectation of maintaining and growing an outpatient practice.

    Practice Highlights:

    • Includes Medical Directorship of antibiotic stewardship and infection control

    • Experience a small private practice feel with the stability of a large organization

    • Practice autonomy with administrative support

    • Only 20% outpatient

    • Only 1 hospital location

    Compensation Range: $250,000 - $399,900 / Year

    Responsibilities

    Team Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals.

    • Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions.

    • Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers.

    Quality Improvement:

    • Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

    • Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement.

    • Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety.

    Compliance:

    • Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice.

    • Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements.

    • Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards.

    Continuous Learning:

    • Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices.

    • Participate in ongoing medical education and training.

    • Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines.

    Qualifications

    • A valid and unrestricted California medical license

    • Board eligible or board certified in specified area of medical specialty (ABMS or AOA)

    • Completion of an accredited post-graduate training program

    Pay Range

    $120.19 - $192.25 /hour
