Industrial Maintenance Technician

The Industrial Maintenance Technician will employ a hands-on approach, working with other technicians to complete routine maintenance, corrective repairs and troubleshoot issues as they arise. This position is based at our Upholstery Division in Newton, NC.

• Install, maintain and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures and electrical systems in an industrial environment.
• Visually inspect/test machinery and equipment to diagnose problems; repair defective/malfunctioning portions of systems
• Install, program or repair automated machinery and equipment such as CNC routers.
• Assembles new or modified mechanical components for routers and power equipment.
• Perform/assist with repairs to dust collection system, including climbing silo for system repairs.

• 5 plus years of strong experience working as a technician in an industrial environment, with heavy emphasis on electrical.
• Strong DC and AC electrical skills
• Strong Pneumatic and Mechanical Skills
• Welding and basic fabrication experience is preferred but not required.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
