    WSP is currently initiating a search for an Industrial Hygienist/Roofing Specialist to work out of our Federal Programs office in Denver, CO; Chicago, IL; or Exton, PA.

    Your Impact

    • Review subcontractors roofing asbestos surveys and recommend edits and confirm that submitted reports are compliant with the requirements of the USPS roofing asbestos survey SOW, USPS asbestos policies, and asbestos regulations.

    • Work directly with roofing USPS program contract leads and providing input and additional recommendations for sampling if applicable.

    • Internally report directly to the USPS roofing program Contracting Officer's Representative (COR) and immediately relay any project concerns to the COR for timely resolution.

    • Exercise responsible and ethical decision-making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.

    • Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

    Who You Are

    Required Qualifications

    • Bachelors degree in Environmental Science or related degree.

    • Experience conducting asbestos surveys, writing asbestos survey reports, and reviewing asbestos survey reports.

    • 1-3 years full time professional experience with roofing systems for governmental, commercial, healthcare, industrial and/or education projects.

    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

    • Coordinate with supervisor in performing highly complex professional assignments demanding contributions calling for the application of specialized principles.

    • Proven track record of upholding workplace safety and ability to abide by WSP's health, safety and drug/alcohol and harassment policies.

    • This role is subject to a client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy. As such, employee may be subject to random drug/alcohol tests. A copy of the client mandated drug/alcohol testing policy will be provided during employee onboarding and is available upon applicant request.

    • Ability to obtain United States Postal Service security clearance.

    • Current/valid AHERA/asbestos license/certification.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Construction experience specific to roofing systems.

    • Experience working on United States Postal Service projects.

    Compensation

    Expected Salary (all locations): $64,700 - $88,880

    WSP USA is providing the compensation range that the company in good faith believes it might pay and offer for this position, based on the successful applicant's education, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities in addition to internal equity and specific geographic location. WSP USA reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's sex or other status protected by local, state, and/or federal law.

    Expected Salary (Colorado only): $64,700 - $88,880
