  • Our client, a leader in logistics and customs compliance, is seeking an Import Group Lead to join their team. As an Import Group Lead, you will be part of the General Commodities Traffic group supporting various operational teams. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, excellent organizational abilities, and a proactive approach to problem-solving, which will align successfully with the organization.

    Job Title: Import Group Lead

    Location: Laredo, TX

    Pay Range: Starting Range between $45,000.00 - $58,000.00/year depending on experience

    What's the Job?

    • Execute administrative activities and perform a full range of support assignments while using judgment to make decisions based on established policies and procedures.

    • Respond to inquiries by providing instructions or general information and ensure customer satisfaction.

    • Accurately enter data into spreadsheets and company software while maintaining records and preparing necessary documents.

    • Train and impart knowledge to team members while ensuring an even distribution of workload.

    • Coordinate with team members to improve efficiency and systems, and assist in preparing weekly invoicing.

    What's Needed?

    • Proficiency in English and Spanish, both verbally and in writing.

    • Strong skills in MS Word, Excel, and other office equipment.

    • At least five years of experience working with a U.S. Customs Broker.

    • Able to type at least 40-50 words per minute and possess administrative office skills.

    • Excellent time management and organizational skills to prioritize work effectively.
