  • Veterinary Imaging Technician

    At VSH - North County, our AAHA accredited hospital proudly serves the community by providing referral services in the specialties of cardiology, dermatology, diagnostic imaging, emergency & critical care, interventional radiology, surgery, oncology, surgical oncology, ophthalmology, neurology, internal medicine, as well as integrative medicine such as acupuncture. 

    About the Job
    As a 

    Veterinary Imaging Technician, you will be responsible for:

    • Prepare and run CT scans, per clinician orders to obtain diagnostic images on canine and feline patients

    • Set image parameters and patient positioning

    • Work independently or under the guidance of the clinician to modify scan techniques for optimal image quality

    • Understand and review all medical records pertinent to patient care and image requests

    • Maintain a clean and safe CT environment by restricting personnel access and disinfecting between patients

    • Performs routine CT quality assurance reporting any concerns in a timely manner

    • Remain current in CT trends through CE attendance and certification

    • Other duties as assigned

    Compensation ranges: Veterinary Assistant $17-$24 hourly, RVT $23-$33 hourly - based on 

    CT experience and skillset.

    About You:
    • 1+ years of hands on CT experience required

    • Minimum of 2 years of veterinary clinical experience in a similar role.

    • The ability to work in a highly collaborative environment and commitment to develop long-term relationships with colleagues, clients, and community.

    • Maintain a positive outlook and ability to work well in a collaborative environment.

    • Excellent communication and organizational skills are required, and the ability to deliver exceptional client service is expected.

    Work Schedule:

    • Full-Time: Monday-Thursday, 8am - 6:30pm
