Overview
Title: Lobby Agent
Pay Rate: 17.78 per hour
Location: Dulles International Airport
Job Classification: Full-Time, Non-Exempt
Shift:
04:00 AM - 12:00 PM
Must be willing to work on Saturday, Sunday, and three weekdays for five consecutive days
The lobby agent is responsible for the overall management of the customer queue awaiting processing at airport security checkpoints.
Specific Duties/Essential Job Functions : (Other duties may be assigned)
Maintain passenger movement for optimal queue management.
Control and monitor and quantity of baggage under TSA security directives.
Identify and direct passengers selected for additional security screening to TSA
Control access to security screening checkpoints to air carrier ticketed passengers, airport employees, and government employees as outlined in TSA security directives.
Control access to security checkpoints
Provide direction to customers on divestiture.
Verify passenger boarding passes and/or airport authorization to ensure concourse access is permitted.
Communicate effectively with others in the work environment and with the public.
Comply with Company and Client expectations regarding professionalism, knowledge, accuracy, and timelines of service.
Provide "Legendary" and timeliness of service.
When necessary for international arrivals, direct customers to the appropriate lane depending on citizenship and ensure that arriving customers are in possession of completed customs and immigration paperwork.
Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards and procedures established by the Company, by our Clients, and by regulatory authorities.
Miscellaneous duties as assigned.

Employees must comply with the Company's uniform and grooming standards and must wear his or her SIDA badge/Airport ID at all times.
Employees must comply with all guidelines and policies outlined in the ABM Aviation's Employee Handbook. These policies include, but are not limited to, the Company's Zero Tolerance Discrimination and Harassment Policy, Retaliation Policy, Ethics Policy, and Security Policy.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED preferred.
Experience:
Previous customer service experience preferred.

Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Must be able to effectively communicate in English (verbal, and written)
Must be able to navigate the training through digital technologies
