  • Job Title: HVAC Technician

    Job Description

    We are looking for a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the operations, repairs, and maintenance of all HVAC equipment and systems, including RTUs, air handling units, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and VAV boxes. Safety and efficiency in all tasks are paramount. The role requires troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems, documenting issues, and operating systems in compliance with government regulations and standard operating procedures.

    Responsibilities

    • Perform operations, repairs, and maintenance of HVAC equipment and systems including RTUs, air handling units, cooling towers, heat exchangers, pumps, valves, and VAV boxes.

    • Utilize proper safety equipment and PPE to perform all tasks safely and efficiently.

    • Respond to a wide range of mechanical and electrical problems, troubleshooting and repairing as needed.

    • Document problems encountered and communicate these through electronic work order systems, email, and voice systems.

    • Operate systems safely and efficiently in accordance with regulatory compliance and standard operating procedures.

    • Perform predictive, planned, preventative, and reactive maintenance, as well as conducting equipment rounds and service requests as directed.

    • Assist with the development and improvement of preventative maintenance programs, schedules, work instructions, SOPs, and operational procedures.

    • Perform visual and operational inspections of equipment and interpret specifications, blueprints, and job standards.

    • Recommend measures to improve equipment performance and suggest changes to increase efficiency.

    • Provide general labor services, including cleaning and organizing designated work areas.

    • Complete training and demonstrate ability to perform equipment monitoring and operational checks.

    • Comply with company policy for safe storage, usage, and disposal of hazardous materials.

    • Maintain all codes, laws, and regulations through compliance programs.

    • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workplace.

    • Interact well with team members and internal/external customers.

    • Be self-motivated, work independently, and follow escalation policy if needed.

    • Participate actively in technical and safety training programs.

    • Perform additional duties as directed.

    Essential Skills

    • Experience with HVAC operations, repair, and maintenance.

    • Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical problems.

    • Knowledge of safety protocols and proper use of PPE.

    • Strong documentation and communication skills.

    • Ability to interpret specifications, blueprints, and job standards.

    • Team player with good interpersonal skills.

    • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    • EPA certification.

    • TDLR certification.

    • Experience with laser alignment is strongly desired.

    The position is located at DFW Airport. The work environment includes operating various HVAC systems and equipment, adhering to safety protocols, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.

    Job Type & Location

    This is a Permanent position based out of Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $60000.00 - $100000.00
