Human Resource Generalist

Position Overview :

The HR Generalist will play a critical role in supporting various HR functions to ensure smooth and efficient HR operations. This position involves hands-on responsibility in key areas such as onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and recruitment.

The ideal candidate will possess a broad knowledge of HR practices and will be skilled at building relationships across departments to foster a positive, productive work environment. This role will be based out of our Securitas office in Westborough, MA.

Benefits :

Depending on experience, Securitas will offer a salary of $27 per hour plus a great benefit package that includes:

• Medical, dental, vision, and life insurance

• 10 accrued vacation days, 4 person holidays, 6 sick days

Key Responsibilities :

• Support onboarding and orientation for new hires.

• Manage employee relations to ensure a positive workplace culture.

• Oversee benefits administration, ensuring accurate enrollment and communication.

• Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and relevant employment laws.

• Assist with performance management processes and employee development.

• Collaborate with recruitment teams to support staffing efforts.

• Ensure management compliance with company policies and procedures.

• Conduct thorough investigations into employee concerns or violations.

• Manage and maintain state licensing requirements for relevant positions.

• Provide coaching and counseling to employees to enhance performance and resolve issues.

• Demonstrate exceptional organizational and time management skills to handle HR tasks effectively.

• Assist with recruitment efforts for office staffing needs.

• Strong understanding of HR best practices and labor laws.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for relationship building across departments.

• Highly organized with a proactive and hands-on approach to HR functions.

• Demonstrated professionalism, ethics, and unquestionable integrity.

• Experience in a detail-oriented role with a focus on quality.

• Strong planning, organizational, and decision-making abilities.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships.

• Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.

• Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.

• Proficiency in HRIS systems and the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
