  • Description We are seeking a dedicated Human Resources (HR) Assistant to join our team in Memphis, Tennessee. The HR Assistant will be responsible for supporting and maintaining all aspects of our HR Information System (HRIS), including system configuration, security role maintenance, and workflow management. This role will also involve providing technical support and troubleshooting to HRIS users, managing audits related to data changes and new hires, and assisting with onboarding activities.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide Tier 1 and above support for end users through the ticketing system

    • Oversee and maintain optimal function of the HRIS, including installation, customization, development, maintenance, and upgrades to applications, systems, and modules

    • Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and guidance to HRIS users

    • Manage audits related to data changes and new hires

    • Support HR projects and initiatives that impact the HRIS

    • Assist with onboarding activities, including onboarding of acquisitions

    • Manage and troubleshoot Manager Self Service (MSS) and other configurations as needed

    • Consult with HRIS support through Case Management as needed

    • Leverage communication and interpersonal skills to form relationships with employees at all levels

    • Use problem-solving orientation to dig into data and information issues

    • Provide excellent customer service to HRIS users. Requirements - Possess strong customer service skills to interact with employees and assist with their needs

    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills to convey information effectively

    • Experience in Human Resources (HR) administration is essential

    • Ability to provide workstation support and troubleshoot any technical issues

    • Knowledge of auditing procedures and principles

    • Understanding of security protocols related to HR functions

    • Familiarity with onboarding procedures and practices

    • Experience in implementing system upgrades and configuration management

    • Excellent interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with colleagues and employees

    • Knowledge of HRIS (Human Resources Information System) for efficient case management

    • Experience in managing acquisitions in a corporate setting

    • Ability to provide technical support to other team members

    • Familiarity with Tier 1 support procedures and practices

    • Knowledge of pre-employment procedures and guidelines

    • Understanding of system configuration processes and principles

    • Proficiency in using ticketing systems for tracking issues and requests

    • Experience in managing HR modules for various business functions

    • Strong written communication skills for preparing reports and correspondences

    • Ability to customize HR processes based on specific business needs

    • Knowledge of gateways used in HR systems and software
