  • Job Title:HR Specialist

    Location:Richmond, VA

    Pay Range: 34.00-35.00

    Supports a broad range of services for the HR and support the regional Business teams including

    recruiting, New Hire orientation, personnel data management and benefits administration. Provide

    guidance and support to quickly resolve employees needs and issues.

    Responsibilities

    • Partners and serves as a liaison between Global HR Operations, the Business, IT, HRBPs and

    the Local HR Team on Global HR projects.

    • Coordinate all internal and external job creation activities.

    • Create non-competition agreements (if applicable) via DocuSign and generate onboarding

    packets. Schedule and monitor results of pre-employment background checks. Follow-up with

    new hires as needed to ensure new hire paperwork and background checks are completed timely.

    • Facilitate New hire Orientation, coordinate speakers and presentation for new hire orientation.

    Schedules new hires and tracks attendance upon completion.

    • Manage I-9 employment authorization process when new hires begin employment.

    • Key all HR personnel data related to new hires, transfers, terminations, leave of absence records,

    disciplinary action records, and any data changes to associate's manager, job and pay in an

    accurately and timely manner.

    • Administer and manage Performance Management Forms in Success Factors

    • Maintain data quality and accuracy of HR data through standard control procedures and regular

    review/audits. Including:

    • Manage the retention and destruction of I-9 documentation per federal requirements.

    • Ensure proper organization and maintenance of all HR personnel files, including scanning

    or saving personnel records into electronic system of record.

    • Adhere to retention and destruction policies and procedures related to HR personnel files

    and HR data.

    • Assisting with the implementation of new benefit programs, Open Enrollment and Life Events in

    Local HRIS.

    • Assist with payroll and benefits administration

    • Run Adhoc reports for HR Team as needed

    • Proficient user and Subject Matter Expert for Success Factors support the team with its use, run

    queries & reports, and data management

    • Identify gaps and process improvements for standard HR work processes related to HR Admin

    activities

    • Manage approval workflows through regular follow-up with managers and other approval

    authorities to meet payroll deadlines.

    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    Minimum Qualifications

    • SHRM- CP preferred

    • Bachelor's degree preferred

    • 2+ years' experience in Human Resources and HRIS Systems

    • Highly organized, efficient, focused, detailed oriented, flexible, and self-directed

    • Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and writing skills

    • Able to manage multiple, time-sensitive priorities

    • Able to proactively identify and resolve problems, and improve process efficiency

    • Experience in Success Factors and/or UKG (UltiPro) preferred

    • Familiarity or comfortability with system configuration, role based permissions, file integrations,

    workflows, and security

    • Eagerness to learn and work within various HR functions with a focus on excellent delivery of

    customer service with a results driven approach

    • Aptitude in problem-solving

    • Proficient MS Office skills including Word, Excel and Outlook
