  • Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Saint Paul, Minnesota. The role is a key part of our team, with responsibilities ranging from recruitment to benefits management, and record keeping. The HR Generalist will also be responsible for general administrative duties and will often serve as a link between our team, visitors, vendors, and community members.

    Responsibilities

    • Oversee all major functions of personnel recruitment, ensuring the selection of suitable candidates for different roles.

    • Coordinate and maintain office systems and procedures to promote smooth operations in support of the organization's mission and work.

    • Manage employee benefits, including related insurance, ensuring all team members understand and can access their entitlements.

    • Handle onboarding and offboarding processes, making sure new hires are effectively integrated into the team and departing employees complete all necessary procedures.

    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

    • Act as a liaison to visitors, vendors, and community members, representing the organization professionally and effectively.

    • Use tools such as ADP Workforce Now and HRIS Payroll System to streamline HR processes.

    • Provide general administrative support to staff, assisting with tasks as needed to ensure efficient operations.

    • Utilize communication and organizational capabilities to manage tasks and interact with team members.

    • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations, using tools such as Microsoft 365 Enterprise and Compliance Management to support this work. Requirements

    • Must have a minimum of 2 years of experience as an HR Generalist or in a similar role

    • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now required

    • Knowledge of Benefit Functions necessary for employee management

    • Strong Communication skills to effectively interact with all levels of the organization

    • Familiarity with Compliance and Compliance Management in the HR field

    • Experience in Employee Relations and Administrative Assistance

    • Demonstrated Organizational capabilities to manage multiple tasks

    • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 Enterprise to perform administrative tasks

    • Experience with HRIS Payroll System for efficient payroll management

    • Must have the ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and integrity

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred

    • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations

    • Strong problem-solving abilities and initiative to improve processes

    • Ability to work in a team-oriented setting

    • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
