HR Generalist

Description

Our company is seeking an experienced HR Generalist with expertise in a gamut of human resources functions. Primary responsibilities will include payroll administration, employee engagement, onboarding, training coordination, and process ownership. The ideal candidate will have a comprehensive understanding of HR facets, excellent communication skills, a knack for problem-solving, and a flair for forging strong relationships with team members at all levels.

Responsibilities

• Oversee payroll processing: Compile payroll data such as work hours, deductions, and leave time from timekeeping records and personnel records. Review wages computed and correct errors to ensure accuracy of payroll.

• Develop and manage employee onboarding procedures to ensure a smooth and positive introduction for all new hires.

• Cultivate a work environment that promotes great employee engagement, reduces turnover, and bolsters overall satisfaction among our workforces.

• Lead employee training efforts: evaluate training needs, design and deliver training solutions for the team, track and report on training outcomes.

• Own the HR process, ensuring all procedures are implemented and adhered to.

• Support other HR activities, including recruitment, performance management, employee relations, and compliance with regulatory requirements.

• Regular production of HR metrics and reports.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in HR, Business Administration, or related field.

• Solid experience in an HR Generalist role, especially in payroll processing and managing employee engagement.

• Proficient with HRMS, payroll software, and other related software.

• Comprehensive knowledge of HR legal compliance and best practices.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.

• Detail-oriented and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

• Proven track record of handling confidential information with discretion.
