HR Generalist

Description We are offering a short term contract employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Agriculture sector. The role is based in Omaha, Nebraska, and will involve a variety of tasks, from processing data to handling recruitment and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Handling recruitment processes, including screening candidates at labor level

• Maintaining the accuracy of daily role call and incident data entry in operational software

• Ensuring smooth onboarding processes by managing paperwork and I9

• Coordinating internal company events for better employee engagement

• Taking charge of safety incident filing to ensure workplace safety

• Processing MVR for efficient operations

• Keeping track of uniform inventory to ensure availability

• Managing filing duties to keep all documents organized

• Answering phone calls and delivering quality customer service

• Overseeing office supplies for smooth operations

• Performing general administrative duties as delegated. Requirements

• Proven experience in Benefit Functions within the agricultural industry

• Excellent Communication skills, both verbal and written

• Solid understanding of Compliance requirements in the agricultural sector

• Demonstrated experience in managing Employee Relations

• In-depth knowledge of the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA)

• Proficiency in Full Cycle Recruiting, from sourcing to onboarding

• Proven experience in successfully managing Onboarding processes

• Exceptional Filing skills, with a focus on maintaining organized and accurate records.

Bilingual in Spanish is preferred
