  • Our client in Lancaster, TX is seeking a Chemical Process Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and mechanical aptitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

    Job Title: Chemical Process Technician

    Location: Lancaster, TX

    Pay Range: At least $24.00/hr (may be higher depending on experience)

    Schedule: day shift - starts at 5 am

    Job Type: Temp-to-hire

    What's the Job?

    • Operate and monitor equipment to process chemicals into products, ensuring safety, quality, and production goals.

    • Handle raw materials, manage system parameters (temperature, pressure, etc.), and monitor reactions.

    • Collect samples for testing and assist with quality checks on raw materials and finished products.

    • Load/unload materials (e.g., railcars, trucks) and complete shipping/inventory paperwork.

    • Perform routine maintenance and keep accurate production and process logs.

    • Follow safety protocols, wear PPE, and work in a plant environment with chemical exposure.

    • Collaborate with the team while managing production, quality, and inventory tasks.

    What's Needed?

    • Ability to safely operate and certify on forklifts and other mobile equipment as required.

    • Experience with railcars and railcar operations REQUIRED

    • Must be able and willing to work 60-80 hours per week during peak season.

    • Proficiency in basic computer operations and mathematics to support production, inventory tracking, and reporting.

    • Strong understanding of mechanical systems and ability to operate plant equipment efficiently.

    • Ability to regularly lift and move up to 100 pounds, perform physical tasks such as climbing, stooping, and kneeling, and work effectively in a non-climate-controlled environment with exposure to chemicals.

    • High School Diploma or GED required, with at least 1 year of previous plant or operations experience preferred.

    • Willingness to wear and work with required PPE, including respirators, Tyvek suits, protective boots, and hearing protection.
