Job Title: Order Filler

Job Description

Working in Order Entry, you will be responsible for processing orders, inputting them into the database, managing inventory, maintaining customer records and contact information, providing open order reports as requested, creating shipping paperwork for outbound deliveries, picking orders and packing them for shipment, and loading and unloading materials. You will also handle customer inquiries. This position guarantees 40 hours every week with a start time of 7:00am to 3:30pm, Monday through Friday.

Responsibilities

• Process orders and input them into the database

• Manage inventory and maintain customer records

• Provide open order reports as requested

• Create shipping paperwork for outbound deliveries

• Pick orders and pack them for shipment

• Load and unload materials

• Handle customer inquiries

Essential Skills

• Proven ability to stand for an entire shift

• Attention to detail

• Proven record of good attendance

• 6 months of experience operating a computer (performing data entry)

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Experience with picking, packing, labeling, and sorting

• Warehouse experience

• Computer skills including entering orders into a computer system

• Experience helping in the mail room

There is no loud machinery, creating a more call center-like atmosphere. The mailroom is a smaller space where each contractor will have their own space on the work table to sort and organize new orders.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Aurora, Illinois.

The pay range for this position is $17.70 - $17.70
