Job Description

We are a small to mid-size grading company currently experiencing a high workload during the busy summertime season. We are seeking skilled Field Technicians to assist with site preparation at our grading sites. We need several pipe laborers, pipe layers, trackhoe, and bulldozer technicians to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Perform both rough and fine grading tasks on site.

• Assist with the installation of pipes by measuring materials and supplying them to pipe layers.

• Dig and maintain an organized work environment.

• Shovel curb and pull string lines as part of the fine grade crew.

Essential Skills

• Blueprint reading

• Site development

• Grading

• Operating bulldozers, trackhoes, rollers, and skid steers

• Pipe laying

• Using grade stakes

• Skilled labor in commercial sitework

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• At least 6 months of prior construction experience or experience working outside on a landscape crew.

• Any equipment operating experience is highly considered.

Work Environment

Candidates will be working on an open construction site where they will be exposed to the elements. Be prepared to get dirty, walk a lot, and work comfortably in the sun.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Mount Holly, North Carolina.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.00 - $25.00
