Heavy Duty Mechanic

Location: Hamilton, Ontario

Waste Connections of Canada has an immediate opening for a Heavy Duty Mechanic to join our team in Hamilton, Ontario .

In this role, you will work on heavy diesel garbage trucks, focusing on hydraulics, electrical systems, preventative maintenance, and minor engine repair. Many of our trucks are still under warranty, making this a great opportunity to work with modern equipment!

Shift Details

• Monday to Friday, 3:00 PM - 12AM PM (Full-Time)

Qualifications

• Red Seal Heavy Duty Mechanic certification or equivalent; strong apprentices may be considered on a case-by-case basis

• 3-4 years of experience in truck and trailer repairs

• Experience with drivability, hydraulics, and engines

• Must be able to pass all pre-employment tests
