    Summary

    SUMMARY: Through internships and other work-based learning experiences at Alameda Health System's (AHS) network of hospitals and Wellness Centers, HealthPATH exposes young people to a breadth of workplace experiences and helps put them on a course to educational and career success. HealthPATH is cultivating the AHS's future workforce-one that reflects the communities we serve and delivers culturally competent care.

    DUTIES & ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS: NOTE : Following are the duties performed by employees in this classification. However, employees may perform other related duties at an equivalent level. Not all duties listed are necessarily performed by each individual in the classification.

    May develop or assist in the development of project plans of various departmental initiatives and/or programs

    May monitor data and perform routine analysis

    May perform outreach to community, educational and other organizations to build awareness of a new AHS program(s), to build partnerships with these organizations for a mutually beneficial outcome and/or to recruit volunteers

    Perform specialized analyses of various projects to assist the assigned department in enhancing clinical and business objectives

    Performs other duties as assigned

    MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

    Education: Be enrolled in an undergraduate program (community college or 4-year college or university), post-baccalaureate program, or have graduated from undergraduate college in the past year

    GPA Requirement: 2.5
