    M Health Fairview is looking for a Health Unit Coordinator/Monitor Technician at St. John's Hospital in Maplewood, MN. This position is 40 hours per two weeks on the Evening shift, 8 hour shifts, every other weekend, and is eligible for benefits such as: PTO, dental/medical insurance, and more.     • Maintains knowledge of, and complies with, all relevant laws, regulations and policies, procedures and standards

    • Actively participates in creating and implementing improvements to achieve clinical, satisfaction and/or efficiency outcomes

    • Observes the cardiac monitors and analyzes, records, and documents the rhythm status for each monitored patient

    • Communicates information regarding rhythm status, problems, concerns, etc to the RN, physicians, and other members of the interdisciplinary team, as appropriate

    • Participates in meeting unit goals and objectives

    • Performs clerical duties as delegated by the Clinical Director or Charge Nurse

    Qualifications

    Required Qualifications:

    • Less than 1 year experience of Transcription/Unit Coordinator experience required

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • 1 year EKG/Monitor Tech experience

    • Attention to Detail: Achieves thoroughness and accuracy when accomplishing a task

    • Computer Skills Basic: Ability to use a computer and applications that are associated with performing basic work tasks (use a mouse, navigate in Windows, Outlook, etc)

    • Interpersonal Communication: Skilled in developing effective rapport with customers, co-workers, or families, actively listening to develop a positive connection

    • Organization: Effective management of projects, deadlines, and work load prioritizing; putting things together in an orderly and functional whole

    • Patient Care Delivery: Observes and collects pertinent data and/or clinical findings to enhance patient outcomes
