  • Job Description Summary

    The Executive Lean Leader is responsible for the design, adoption, and execution of the enterprise-wide lean transformation of the GE HealthCare Integrated Supply Chain (ISC) and Global Services team. The goal is to positively impact results and culture by improving processes and capabilities, establishing standards, instituting daily management, and driving consistent problem-solving methods. This leader will build and lead the Lean agenda for ISC and Global Services in partnership with the Segments and Regions to drive standards for Supply Chain and Service outcomes. Additionally, this role is accountable for driving the action plans for implementation to drive results and lean culture. This will require significant change management to effectively embed throughout the growing organization.

    Job Description

    Essential Responsibilities

    • Support the GE HealthCare Lean Management System.

    • Define the roadmap for lean deployments across ISC and Global Services, and the competencies required for execution.

    • Understand pain points in the organization and drive progress via Lean. Drive various performance initiatives, including on time installation, on time delivery, clean orders/linearity, service efficiency, etc. to shape program design and desired outcomes. Partner into execution mode.

    • Implement the Management System including daily management metrics, review and problem-solving cadence and agenda, process to address KPIs and, implementing lean tools and training programs to enable Problem Solving Process (PSP)/action planning.

    • Establish a lean competency program which; ensures the application of globally recognized standards for lean principles and practices, serves as a benchmark for achievements, provides a common roadmap for continuous improvement and workforce development.

    • Develop capability across the spectrum from the tactical (deployment and application of principles, concepts, and methods) to the strategic (a transformation that deeply impacts a key value stream).

    • Peer Leadership and partnership.

    • Capture the essence of the lean culture.

    Qualifications/Requirements

    • BS or BA Degree

    • Minimum 10 years' experience with proven leadership in operations or operations, engineering, commercial/customer, or quality in a senior level role

    • Minimum of 7 years mastering a variety Lean and Growth-related tools such as: Strategy Deployment, Problem Solving, Daily Management, Standard Work, and VSM/Process Mapping

    • Prior team leadership experience

    • Ability to accurately assess key business metrics and situations from a general manager's perspective.

    • Expertise with lean methodologies.

    • Excellent time and project management

    • Successfully managed multi-million-dollar budget

    • Possess the technical skills necessary to be credible; must have significant practitioner experience in Growth & Lean tools and processes.

    • Proven ability to bring order and structure to function and organization quickly.

    • Demonstrated successful leadership and proficiency in building and implementing lean business system/practices for global manufacturing organization (in a variety of situations)

    • Strategic mindset with hands-on approach

    • Strong commercial focus on customer and end user experience

    • A record of proven results through leadership of cross functional teams and in matrix environment

    • Proven business/financial acumen, including demonstrated ability to motivate, influence, solve complex problems, and drive change at all levels of the organization.

    • Willing to travel domestically and internationally up to 50%

    Desired Qualifications/Requirements

    • Master's/MBA degree.

    • Ideally built and/or designed business system for global organizations.

    • MedTech Industry experience beyond the GEHC product and solution portfolio.
