  • Description

    • Design and Release Engineer for the Body Control Modules, which are central electronic control units within vehicle electrical architecture. The modules incorporate fused electrical bus center, for power distribution, with a body computer within a single module.

    • The design & release engineer is responsible for all product deliverables, necessary to deliver a robust solution, to their assigned vehicle program.

    • Lead the delivery of all engineering requirements, for the electronic modules, per each development milestone, as defined by the Ford product development process.

    • Develop solutions as required to revise or add features to the electronic modules as they impact hardware.

    • Lead electronic modules configuration development and release effort.

    • Lead a cross functional team of feature owners and system engineers to assist in the definition of the required behavioral requirements necessary to meet the programs needs

    • Ensure alignment with Product Definition Letters and compliance to regional regulatory requirements

    Required Skills

    • Three + years design release experience.

    • Experience working with vehicle electrical/electronics, WERS, body modules.

    • Bachelor of Electrical Engineering or similar degree.
