Integrated Services creates and markets new customer products and experiences by integrating hardware, software, and services across Ford Blue, Model e, Ford Pro and Lincoln. Within Integrated Services, our Digital Product Team leads the charge on creating innovative software for our customers. Through listening to customers, research, and a deep understanding of the market, this team leads the future on how Ford can differentiate its vehicles and create experiences customers love.     About this position:

    As a Group Product Manager, you will lead a small team solving core customer problems. The solutions you help to champion will create an elevated customer experience.

    This position is posted as 'remote' unless the selected candidates live within 50 Miles of Dearborn, MI or Palto Alto, CA. If so, then it requires a hybrid onsite schedule, up to 60% of the time.

    What you'll do...

    Product Strategy and Roadmap:

    • Own, define and articulate the vision, strategy, and roadmap for the next generation in-vehicle software products such as autonomous driving, mobile apps, and in-vehicle infotainment.

    • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs, market trends, and opportunities.

    • Develop and maintain detailed product requirements (PRDs) for our digital system.

    Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Collaborate with engineering and design teams to ensure the products meet technical feasibility and design excellence.

    • Work closely with sales and services teams to ensure digital roadmaps support our critical business initiatives and support go-to-market strategies, pricing, and promotional plans.

    • Facilitate communication and coordination between all stakeholders to ensure alignment and timely delivery of product milestones.

    Customer Experience:

    • Champion the customer experience by understanding and addressing customer pain points, preferences, and feedback related to vehicle ownership and in-vehicle software and services.

    • Develop user personas, journey maps, and use cases to guide product development and design decisions.

    • Ensure the final products deliver a seamless and exceptional user experience from interface design to feature functionality.

    Product Launch and Lifecycle Management:

    • Monitor product performance and customer feedback to identify areas for improvement and future enhancements.

    • Manage the product lifecycle, including updates, feature releases, and end-of-life planning.

    Data-Driven Decision Making:

    • Utilize data and analytics to inform product decisions and measure success.

    • Identify and track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide regular reports to stakeholders on product performance and customer satisfaction.

    You'll have...

    • Bachelor's Degree or combination of education and equivalent experience.

    • 7+ years of Product Management experience with proven experience in translating key customer experiences into product requirements and shipping products in the past .

    • 3+ years of demonstrated leadership experience, directly managing, or influencing product team members.

    • Experience bringing to life embedded and cloud software products to life utilizing tools like Figma and Jira.

    • Proven relationship building and collaboration skills; ability to influence and drive outcomes in large, matrixed, and complex organizations; ability to influence a diverse group of stakeholders including small to large teams of technical experts.

    • Proven track record of solving tough problems and delivering working solutions throughout career.

    • Domain knowledge across integrated hardware/software products, autonomy, or consumer-facing digital products. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of the hardware and software systems required to bring consumer products to market in these sectors.

    • Successfully launched products in a matrix organization and demonstrated ability to manage multiple products in production and their backlogs.

    • Familiarity with Agile Software Methodologies (Scrum, eXtreme Programming, Kanban)

    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.

    • A deep passion for your customers, their needs, and for building/shipping products to meet these needs.
