    Description and Responsibilities:

    We are seeking a motivated and experienced Group Lead for our 2nd shift operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in machining, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to foster a positive and productive work environment.

    • Lead and supervise a team of machinists on the 2nd shift, ensuring efficient workflow and meeting production targets.

    • Coordinate with other shift leads and management to ensure seamless transition and communication across shifts.

    • Monitor and maintain quality standards, ensuring all products meet company specifications and customer requirements.

    • Train and mentor team members, promoting skill development and adherence to safety protocols.

    • Address and resolve any issues or conflicts that arise within the team, maintaining a positive and collaborative work environment.

    • Implement and enforce company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.

    • Assist in the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance productivity and efficiency.

    Requirements:

    Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or leadership training is a plus.

    • Proven experience in a supervisory or lead role within a manufacturing environment.

    • Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.

    • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

    • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

    • Proficiency in using manufacturing software and tools is preferred.
