Group Class Instructor (part-time)

In this position you will provide fun, effective, and safe group exercise to members participating in general exercise programs such as dance, kickboxing, step, boot camp, circuit and/or specialty exercise programs such as Zumba and Kickboxing.

This is a position teaching approximately 2 classes per week. Flexible schedule Mondays - Thursdays from 3:30 PM - 5:30 PM

HealthFitness is looking for a Group Class Instructor to join the fitness team at our client site located in Cambridge, MA.

Minimum Requirements

• Current group exercise instructor certification from ACE, AFAA/NASM, ACSM, NETA, NCCPT, or other NCCA nationally accredited specialty class certification required.

• Adult CPR/AED certifications from American Heart Association, American Red Cross or American Safety & Health Institute required within 30 days of hire.

• 2+ years group exercise instruction experience strongly preferred.

• Ability to navigate electronic onboarding and timecard systems required.

• Applicants must meet hiring requirements including but not limited to pre-employment drug test. (remove if drug screen not required at site)

Compensation: $45/hr - $55/hr. Pay is dependent on experience and qualifications.
