  • Overview

    The Graphic Designer works to support CommonSpirit Health at Home and all service lines to develop design materials for all media applications (print, digital, Internet, and Intranet), including, but not limited to: brochures, posters, logos, web banners, billboards, advertisements, flyers, presentations, design templates and any other related materials. Reporting to the Senior Graphic Designer, this role is responsible for implementing all brand standards and maintaining the integrity of the organization's identity, as well as all other related brands. Handles and facilitates all projects from beginning design stages through final production. The Graphic Designer, in partnership with the Senior Graphic Designer, is responsible for building and enhancing the awareness and understanding of the organization and each service lines' visual presence, both internally and externally, while reinforcing branding, key messaging, and consistency of design.

    Responsibilities

    1. Supports CommonSpirit Health at Home's mission to make the healing presence of God known in our world by improving the health of the people we serve, especially those who are vulnerable, while we advance social justice for all. Our mission aligns and supports with that of our parent health system; supports CommonSpirit Health and CommonSpirit Health at Home's values, strategic goals and high standards of customer service; consistently lives People First Behaviors; and follows the policies and procedures of the organization.

    2. Adheres to the Corporate Compliance Program, including confidentiality of HIPAA protected health information. Maintains confidentiality of patient information.

    3. Works with the Communications and Marketing team to create, maintain, and update design collateral for all internal and external initiatives, including but not limited to social media, website and email campaigns.

    4. Provides design support that aligns with the organization's goals and strategies, while maintaining the integrity of our identity by upholding brand standards.

    5. Respond to requests covering a broad range of needs; assisting subject matter experts, department and service line leaders with design consultation, creation and updates.

    6. Creates visual designs to educate, build and promote awareness, and understanding of each service line, services offered, specific programs and initiatives.

    7. Provides high-quality graphic support for company programs, presentations and special events.

    8. Adheres to support and maintain standard processes regarding all design requests and project management.

    9. Maintains our comprehensive library of design files; ensuring regular updates and audit of resources and creating new resources for locations, partners and programs.

    10. Support the needs of the enterprise level website, location-specific websites, partner websites and social media platforms: update and create graphics, secure photography, apply brand design standards to all artwork.

    11. Partners with print vendor(s) to manage our print-on-demand ordering site and facilitates projects and requests with vendor, as needed.

    12. Designs and creates production ready art for printed material such as flyers, sell sheets, catalogs and product or program documentation, in addition to promotional items, recruiting events, employee events and leadership development programs.

    13. Experience in photography, videography and editing preferred to assist in the creation of dynamic content for all platforms.

    14. Provide a high level of customer service by meeting and exceeding established service level agreements for all requests assigned.

    15. Keeps current on all design and web technologies and programs.

    16. Conduct regular project tracking and status updates appropriately.

    17. Other related duties as required.

    Qualifications

    Bachelor's degree required, preferably in the field of Graphic Design or related industry.

    Minimum of two years' experience working in graphic design, health care a plus.

    Advanced working knowledge of desktop publishing equipment (Adobe Creative Suite). Experience working with a digital asset management system, email marketing campaign system and website management tools.

    Excellent oral and written communication skills.

    Excellent organization, time management, and project management skills.

    Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

    Knowledge and experience in Canva, Adobe Marketo, video editing and web-design tools.

    Pay Range

    $24.35 - $33.47 /hour
