Grants and Contracts Manager

Description

We are seeking an experienced, detail-oriented Grants and Contracts Manager to join our team. This person will be primarily responsible for managing all administrative activities related to the successful securing, execution, and closure of grants and contracts.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee all aspects of grant and contract administration, including pre-award, post-award, and close-out activities.

• Monitor all grant and contracts activities, ensuring compliance with the organization and funding source regulations.

• Submit timely and accurate reports to funding sources.

• Coordinate with program directors and finance staff to prepare budgets and financial reports related to grants and contracts.

• Negotiate terms and conditions of grants and contracts with funding agencies.

• Foster and maintain strong relationships with all grantor and contractor organizations.

• Review and interpret grant and contract proposals, applications, and awards.

• Provide assistance and training to staff in grants and contracts administration.

• Continuously stay updated on laws, regulations, and guidelines related to grant and contract management.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Finance, or related field desired

• Proven experience in grants and contracts management preferably within the nonprofit or public sector.

• Strong knowledge of federal, state, and foundation grant processes, regulations, and financial reporting requirements.

• Excellent organizational, project management, and financial management skills.

• Excellent negotiation and communication skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and grants management software, especially highly capable with Excel
