    We are looking for a talented Global Allocation Manager to join our team specializing in Supply Chain Planning for our corporate office in Fridley, MN.

    In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:

    Lead Cross-Functional Projects: By guiding multiple projects from inception to completion, you will ensure that each project meets its scope and objectives, driving the organization towards its goals.

    Facilitate Effective Planning: Your ability to facilitate project planning sessions and establish performance goals will help align stakeholders and set clear, achievable targets.

    Design and Track Project Plans: Developing detailed project plans and timelines, and tracking performance against these plans, will keep projects on course and ensure timely delivery.

    Resolve Project Issues: Identifying, tracking, and resolving project issues will minimize disruptions and keep projects moving forward smoothly.

    Manage Budgets and Risks: By planning and monitoring project budgets and using quality tools to manage risks, you will ensure projects are financially viable and risks are mitigated.

    Leverage Cross-Functional Resources: Drawing on the experience of cross-functional and external resources will enhance project success and foster a collaborative environment.

    Ensure Comprehensive Documentation: Maintaining complete project documentation and communicating status updates will keep all stakeholders informed and aligned.

    Guide and Develop Team Members: By assigning appropriate resources, coaching team members, and providing developmental feedback, you will build a strong, capable project team and mentor other Project Managers.

    Customer Focus: Build strong relationships and deliver solutions that are centered around customer needs, enhancing satisfaction and loyalty.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    Education/Experience:

    • College, university, or equivalent degree required.

    • This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations.

    • Significant level of experience required. 5-7 years of relevant experience preferred.

    Additional Skills:

    • Conflict Management - key aspect of role as need to challenge plants, suppliers and supply continuity to support in problematic areas

    • Planning Experience - ideally would have knowledge in a prior planning or materials role understanding the challenges part shortages / inventory management can bring AND/OR experience in a purchasing role negotiating with suppliers

    • Oracle & Excel (analytics) experience - need to be able to navigate around both Oracle ERP systems and Excel to be able to produce tabular and graphical data

    • Logistics familiarity - have some prior exposure to basic logistics planning or at least understand why and when premium freight would be used, delivery timings incl custom clearances etc.

    • Business / finance acumen - need to be able to understand the implications of holding too much inventory / stock outs, cost per unit (dual sourcing)

    Compensation

    Please note that the salary range provided is a good faith estimate on the applicable range. The final salary offer will be determined after considering relevant factors, including a candidate's qualifications and experience, where appropriate.
