    We are looking for an ambitious Gift Planning Intern with a heart for Philanthropy to join our expansion team. In this role you will assist with administrative, clerical, patient service or operational support duties.

    • Is currently a law student

    • Is willing to learn and adapt.

    • Has previous experience working with charity/philanthropy (preferred).

    • Has a passion for learning a wide range of additional skills.

    • Is a naturally outgoing and articulate individual who thrives in social settings.

    Responsibilities:

    • While following all department procedures and guidelines, completes daily assignments, projects or tasks.

    • Maintains equipment, files, databases.

    • Participates in performance improvement activities or meetings then recommends actions to improve results.

    • Once trained and assigned, assists with patient service functions.

    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education:

    • High School Diploma or GED.

    • Must be currently enrolled in a law program.

    Certifications:

    • None required.

    Complexity of Work:

    • May require critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

    • Must be able to work in a stressful environment and take appropriate action.

    Work Experience:

    • This role is an internship for a law student

    • Philanthropy experience/volunteer work appreciated

    Physical Requirements:

    • Requires occasional computer entry, sitting, standing and walking to attend meetings.

    • Normal or corrected vision, hearing and speech.

    Personal Protective Equipment:

    • Follows standard precautions using personal protective equipment as required.

    Pay Range

    Minimum hourly: $15.00

    Maximum hourly: $18.44

    The pay range displayed on this job posting reflects the anticipated range for new hires. While the pay range is displayed as an hourly rate, Cleveland Clinic recruiters will clarify whether the compensation is hourly or salary. A successful candidate's actual compensation will be determined after taking factors into consideration such as the candidate's work history, experience, skill set, and education.
