General Maintenance 2 - Carpenter

UPMC is hiring a General Maintenance 2 - Carpenter to join the Maintenance and Facilities Team! This full-time role will work primarily daylight shift and will be based at UPMC Hamot Hospital.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain and prepare job site/shop.

• Perform routine repairs including ceiling tile.

• Minor wall repair and preparation (nail holes, etc.).

• Sanding and staining of wood.

• Maintain shop stock and inventory.

• Delivery and receiving materials.

• ICRA for cycle maintenance.

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.

• Two years of general maintenance-related work experience OR

• Completion of a trade school required.

• Military experience considered.

• Carpentry experience preferred.

Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances:

• Driver's License

• Act 34
