General Laborer

Description:

Aerotek is looking for Machine Operators in the New Haven, CT area for an immediate job opportunity. This company produces metal sheeting and plate materials flat rolled carbon steel, aluminum and stainless steel. These operators will be completing the following tasks:

• Receive material

• Remove metal wrapping from steel rolls

• Prepare steel rolls to be cut

• Help perform basic measurements utilizing micrometers and calipers etc.

• Keep area around the machine clean

• Help record and document work

Skills & Qualifications:

• Machine operating or other manufacturing experience

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints is a plus

• Must be able to communicate effectively with machine operator

• Must be able to read and write English

• Computer skills are a plus

• Ability to utilize basic measuring tools is a plus

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00
