Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper in the heart of Little Rock, Arkansas. In this role, you will primarily be tasked with handling the accounts receivable department and performing various accounting functions. Your duties will encompass managing customer applications, maintaining accurate customer records, and resolving customer inquiries. This role is based in the financial services industry and the workplace environment is highly dynamic.

Responsibilities

• Accurately process customer credit applications

• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate

• Manage incoming payments and ensure they are correctly posted to tenant ledgers

• Address discrepancies in payment amounts and report issues to property managers

• Assist with reconciliation and research of data in tenant ledgers

• Input lease brief information into accounting software systems and create new tenants

• Ensure accurate billing of tenants by reviewing recorded data

• Process receipts for all managed properties and check commission invoices for accuracy

• Handle the calculation and processing of late fees

• Manage monthly charges and distribute rent rolls to managers

• Calculate monthly management fees and ensure they are billed in accordance with the Management Agreement.

Requirements - Minimum of 2 years of experience in a Full Charge Bookkeeper role or similar position

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is required

• Demonstrable experience with ADP - Financial Services is essential

• Familiarity with Computerized Accounting Systems

• Proficient in Great Plains (GPAC) software

• Strong skills in Microsoft Excel are necessary

• Ability to perform all Accounting Functions independently

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Proven ability to prepare an Annual Budget

• Must be capable of Cash Flow Analysis
