Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Full Charge Bookkeeper located in PARMA, Ohio, 44134, United States. As a Full Charge Bookkeeper, you will primarily handle various accounting functions such as maintaining accurate customer records, processing customer credit applications, and resolving customer inquiries. Moreover, your role will involve monitoring customer accounts and taking appropriate action when necessary.

Responsibilities

• Ensure monthly bank reconciliations for all locations are carried out accurately

• Conduct monthly General Ledger Account Reconciliations for Corporate office and other locations

• Handle the preparation and filing of Monthly Rhode Island Sales and Use Tax Return

• Manage the preparation and filing of Quarterly Ohio Sales and Use Tax Returns and CAT Return

• Oversee the month-end close for the designated location

• Utilize various accounting software systems such as Great Plains, Microsoft Excel, and others to carry out tasks

• Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes

• Perform annual budgeting tasks and cash flow analysis

• Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly

• Monitor customer accounts and take appropriate action when necessary. Requirements

• Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems is a must

• Ability to work with Computerized Accounting System is required

• Must be adept at using Microsoft Excel

• Should be able to handle all Accounting Functions efficiently

• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR) is required

• Should be capable of preparing and managing the Annual Budget

• Ability to carry out Cash Flow Analysis is essential.
