Full Charge Bookkeeper

Description We are looking for a Full Charge Bookkeeper to join our team in Cincinnati, Ohio. In this role, you will be responsible for managing all general accounting and bookkeeping functions, including but not limited to: month-end, quarter-end, year-end close, reconciliations of bank and general ledger, creating and posting entries to the general ledger, and assisting in other accounting functions such as Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP).

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes including but not limited to: A/P, A/R, payroll, journal entries and bank reconciliation

• Execute month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close procedures

• Reconcile bank and general ledger accounts

• Create and post entries to the general ledger

• Assist in financial statement reporting

• Assist with other accounting functions; A/R, A/P, and Payroll

• Undertake ad hoc accounting projects as required

• Utilize skills and experience with Excel using Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP

• Apply knowledge of multiple tier 1 ERP systems experiences preferred (SAP, JD Edwards, Oracle, Peoplesoft) Requirements - Proficiency in Basic Bookkeeping and Bookkeeping Functions

• Experience in handling Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)

• Ability to maintain financial records and prepare reports

• Knowledge of financial software and databases

• Strong organizational and planning skills

• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in work

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of financial information

• Good communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work independently and in a team

• Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
