Forklift Operator

Paying $21 / HR - $23 / HR

Location - Portland, OR

Responsibilities:

• Operation of double wide forklifts, 2/3/4 stage lifts.

• Unloading and loading freight trucks and rail cars full of beer, win, spirits, soft drinks, etc.

• Moving palletized full pallet loads around the warehouse using sit down electric forklifts a majority of the time.

• Use of RF scanning systems on scannable barcodes and plaquards.

Qualifications:

• 1+ year experience in a distribution facility, specifically forklift.

Environment/ Shift:

• Large temp controlled warehouse facility at 50-60 degrees year round.

• Day sift: 6am start, shifts are typically 10-12 hours. Day shift is heavy on standup forklift but also includes sit down.

• Swing shift: 2pm start, shifts are typically 10-12 hours.
